Welcome to Trevissome Park

Soon to be home to the one of the UK's most environmentally friendly buildings

The Ultra Eco "Underground" Office

Having completed Phase 2 of Trevissome Park, comprising of six buildings containing 10 office suites across 12,000 square feet, we are now moving onto Phase 3 which will be our first ultra eco office building on site. We start work in early 2017 on the new building which will be situated in the field next to the wind turbine.

The building has the feeling of being semi underground with a field grass roof to camouflage it and the large car park from the road. The new building will comprise of approximately 9,500 square feet of net space laid out to four open plan and modern office suites with meeting rooms and associated facilities.

Here are the features for this exciting new space

  • The building will be powered directly from both the 80kW wind turbine and 50kW of ground mounted solar

  • The field grass roof will be supported by 300mm of sub-soils and topsoil for added insulation and water preservation

  • The windows will all be triple glazed with dark reveals to capture heat and avoid bright reflections into the offices

  • Natural ventilation will be automatically regulated by high-level windows designed to promote fresh and control thermal gain

  • Local timber construction surrounding a steel frame to support the sun shading to avoid thermal gain and to support a comfortable working environment

  • Sheep’s wool insulation combined with SuperQuilt to promote a low noise and stable working environment

  • Natural sunlight through 36 roof lights with blinds to diffuse light evenly throughout the building

  • Electric Vehicle charging for every parking space

  • Electric Vehicle 50kW supercharger for fast charging to 80% in just 20 minutes

  • Thermal massing with underfloor heating design for both a base level of heating and a quick response time for those cold Cornish days.
